Okazaki Jinja is a small Shinto shrine located in the east side of Kyoto. Locals visit here to pray for fertility and safe childbirth for hundreds of years. In recent years, this place has become a popular spot for tourists and younger people because of their spirit animal, the rabbit.
There are so many rabbits here, from large statutes to small figures, and there are many cool spots to take pictures for social media. If you like bunnies, this place is definitely worth a visit.
To get to Okazaki Jinja from Ume Sakura, take a bus from Kawaramachi Marutamachi toward the east on Marutamachi dori. It only takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
